Traffic is bad, of course, but the automatic signs indicating congestion on alternate routes are impressive
Went to the financial district in Pudong, just to see the buildings. 
The Oriental Pearl radio and tv tower is a landmark of sorts, although now outstripped by the taller buildings nearby. (You can also see it from across the river in one of the photos at the end of the previous post).
The buildings in these pictures cluster at a roundabout with lavish plantings:

Also on the circle is an extravagant shopping mall--Super Brand Mall
